The CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) test for Managers is designed to educate managers with the knowledge and skills they need to keep all construction industry workers safe.
Managers and professionals are constantly exposed to hazardous situations and are responsible for the protection and safety of their workforce. Awareness of regulatory procedures and environmental laws ensures structured guidelines are available for managers undertaking the daily responsibility for worker's safety.
Equally, construction industry managers must be aware that a lost life or injured worker results in significant compensatory packages which can result in economic loss and negative publicity for the sector.

The test checks the professional’s knowledge of legal, management, health, safety and environmental standards and procedures while providing a set of guidelines for managing construction industry workers. The test also addresses any training and quality issues.
